I grew up in Nebraska City, a small town in Nebraska surrounded by trees and farmland. Growing up in a Christian home, I don’t remember a time when Jesus wasn’t part of my life. At the end of my freshman year of college, I read Ephesians 2:8-9 and God revealed to me what grace truly is and that God’s love for me can’t be earned from my works. The next summer, I worked at the Pine Cove Outback where my understanding of the gospel was deeply enriched and I fell in love with scripture as the sufficient and living word of God. I spent three summers at camp and loved every second of it.
During my college years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (go Huskers!!), the Lord stirred in me a deep passion for his word and a desire to disciple the next generation and share the good news of the freedom found in Christ! After college, I attended the Watermark Institute where I served on the Middle School Team as a resident before being hired full time!
In my free time I like exploring new coffee shops, hammocking and spending time outside, and curating the perfect Spotify playlist.
