Hi, my name is Kike (pronounced Kee-Kay). I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Growing up in a Catholic family, we attended church from time to time, but it was not until my mother encountered Jesus through a church livestream that everything began to change. She was the first person in our family to come to know Christ. Later, during my teenage years, one summer, I reluctantly attended a youth camp where I encountered Jesus for myself and started a personal relationship with Him. It was also during that season that I discovered my passion worship, music and sound.
At the time, I was studying to become a computer science engineer, but God had different plans for my life. I eventually attended music college, where I met my best friend and the love of my life, Marcia. I then moved to the United States to continue my education as a recording engineer in Hollywood, California.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to tour as a Musician/Audio Engineer and work in recording studios. My wife and I moved to Dallas five years ago, and while I am thankful for those experiences, nothing brings me more joy and fulfillment than using the gifts God has given me to serve His Church. It is a privilege to use my skills in God’s house and help others encounter Jesus the way my family and I did.
